The international organization known as breakfree worldwide organized a worldwide online breaking battle where the participants went head to head on their respective regions. It was a priviledge for East Africa to be considered on the battle and get a chance to compete as well as get their registration fee waived off, as it was free for East Africa breakers.
Many breakers signed up and 32 of them proceeded forward. The event host, Bboy Moy of Monster energy drink, made sure to make the platform even for every breaker who participated. The judges were live as well and could pick a winner based on what They could see.
